This policy explains how KLIPR (PTY) LTD ("Klipr", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you use the Klipr sports replay service. We are committed to processing personal information lawfully under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 ("POPIA").

Cameras installed at a participating venue continuously record a short rolling buffer. Footage is only saved as a clip when someone presses the courtside button. We process this information in order to:
Our lawful basis is a combination of consent (for example, by playing on a court that displays Klipr signage, or by choosing to share a clip) and the legitimate interests of players and venues in capturing and sharing sporting highlights. The venue is responsible for ensuring it has a lawful basis to capture and share footage of its members and guests, and for displaying appropriate notices.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers ("operators") who process it on our behalf under contract:
When you choose to share a clip (for example via WhatsApp or social media), it is sent to the recipients and platforms you select.
Our operators may store or process information on servers located outside South Africa. Where this happens, we rely on operators that are bound by contractual data-protection commitments providing a comparable level of protection, as permitted by section 72 of POPIA.
Clips are retained for 14 (fourteen) days and are then automatically deleted, unless we are required to keep specific information longer by law. Booking-related information is kept only as long as needed to provide the service.
